Born on Long Island before moving to Upstate New York to a town much like Lake Hadley, Keith is a graduate of SUNY Oswego and a retired teacher from Harrisburg, North Carolina.  Unlike his characters, Keith currently lives a crime-free life with his dog. He loves attending loud concerts, collecting records, exercising, cooking, and exploring North Carolina mountain towns with his girlfriend. Regardless of the sentiments of the characters in his book, Keith holds no ill-will towards lawn gnomes or any ornamental lawn decorations. Though he fills his days with honest work, he cannot promise that he won’t swipe your lawn gnome.
